Their story
Three from GFRIEND
When the GFRIEND contracts with Source Music ended in May 2021, the six members went separate ways. Three of them did not go far. On 6 October 2021 BPM Entertainment announced that Eunha, SinB and Umji had signed as a trio, and two days later a short film gave the group its name: VIVIZ, said to stand for "Vivid dayZ". Its Korean sound, bibiji, also plays on the fact that Eunha and SinB are both called Eun-bi.
A fast start
The debut EP Beam of Prism came out on 9 February 2022, and a week later "Bop Bop!" won Show Champion. That spring they sang it for Grammy's Global Spin series, the first K-pop girl group to appear there, and later in the year they competed on Mnet's Queendom 2. The fans got their name early too: Na.V, a play on nabi, the Korean word for butterfly.
The slow hit
"Maniac", from the November 2023 EP Versus, had a quiet first month against heavy competition. Then the dance, built around a hip-shaking section by the choreographer Kany, caught on via TikTok, and in December the song entered the Melon Top 100. It became their biggest song. In 2024 they took V.hind: Love and Tears around the world, and in July 2025 released their first studio album, A Montage of ( ), with a solo track for each member.
Where they are now
In March 2026 the three ended their contract with BPM Entertainment, citing unpaid settlements. On 5 October 2026 they signed with Uncore, a company founded in 2024. The use of the VIVIZ name is still being negotiated with their former agency, so a new official X account opened later that month under the members' own names, and Uncore says a new team name is being considered.
