Who we are
The site is run by the kpop-fandom editors. It began in 2024 as a blog and was rebuilt in 2026 as a place to play as well as read. We write in English so that fans everywhere can join in.
Independent
kpop-fandom is not connected to any agency, label, broadcaster or artist. Nobody pays us to write about anyone, there are no sponsored stories and there are no ads. What we cover, and how, is our own decision.
Why there are no photos
Photos, logos and album covers belong to the artists, their agencies and the photographers who made them. Instead of borrowing their work, everything you see here is our own: the type, the colors, the cards and Haepi. When a story is better with a post from an artist or a news outlet, it is shown from X itself, and only when you choose to load it.
Meet Haepi
Haepi is our jellyfish, named after the Korean way of saying happy (해피). Haepi hosts the Daily, stars in the Arcade and rides the Last Train home, always with a lightstick in one tentacle.
How we write
We use AI to help with research and first drafts, but no story goes live until an editor has read it, checked the facts and is happy to put the site's name under it. How we write explains the process in full.
Your privacy
No tracking, no advertising cookies and nothing loaded from outside services unless you ask for it. You can play as a guest without giving us anything. The details are on the privacy page.
