Your data on kpop-fandom

We keep as little as we can, only for the game, and in the EU. Here is exactly what that means.

What we store

  • A random player idCreated the first time you open the Daily, so your scores, light and cards belong to you. It is not linked to your name, phone or computer.
  • Your fan name and colorOnly if you pick one. It is shown on the leaderboard.
  • Your Daily resultsYour answers, points, light and the cards you earned, so we can score the quiz fairly and keep your seat.
  • Your e-mail addressOnly if you choose to save your seat with it. Used only to send you a sign-in link, so you can play on another device. Never shown, never shared, no newsletters.

We do not store your real name, a password or a profile of you, and we do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

Where it is kept

Game data is stored with Supabase, in a data centre in the European Union (Ireland). Sign-in e-mails are sent through Resend, also from the EU (Ireland); they only see your e-mail address and the message itself. Your browser also keeps a few things on your own device: your chosen light, theme, fan name and a copy of your stats, so pages load fast. Our web host, database and e-mail providers keep short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to protect the site against abuse.

How long

As long as you keep playing. A player that has not been active for 12 months is deleted, with everything that belongs to it.

Delete or see your data

Mail info@kpop-fandom.com with your fan name and we will send you what we hold or delete it. If your seat is saved with an e-mail, you can also sign out on a device from the Daily page. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes the copy on your device.
