Who writes the stories
Every story is chosen, edited and published by the kpop-fandom editors. We decide what to cover, what angle to take and what is worth your time. A story only goes live once an editor has read it in full and is happy to put the site's name under it.
How we use AI
We use AI as a research and writing assistant. It helps us gather facts from published sources, build a timeline and write a first draft. An editor then rewrites, cuts and adds to that draft: our own view, context from inside the fandom, and the things only fans notice.
We do not publish AI text without a human reading and checking it. Every story says at the bottom that it was researched and drafted with AI assistance, so you never have to guess.
Facts and sources
We check every factual claim against a reliable source. News stories name where the facts come from, preferably the original source: the artist, the agency or the organisation itself. When something is reported but not confirmed, we say so. When a quote is translated, for example from Korean, we say that too.
Opinion is marked as opinion. When we write "for many fans" or "we think", that is our reading of the situation, not a fact.
What we will not do
- Make things upNo invented quotes, statistics or reactions.
- Spread rumoursWe do not present rumours as facts.
- Private livesWe do not write about idols' private lives, relationships or health.
- Use other people's artNo photos, logos or music we do not have the rights to. All art on this site is our own: the type, the colors, Haepi and the cards.
Updates and corrections
News moves fast. When a story changes, we update the article and say what changed and when. If you spot a mistake, tell us at info@kpop-fandom.com and we will fix it. Corrections are noted at the bottom of the story, not quietly swapped in.
Why we are open about this
Fandom runs on trust. You trust fan accounts, translators and fansites to get it right, and we want to earn that trust too. We would rather tell you exactly how a story was made than let you wonder.
