Their story
Half hope, half reality
FIFTY FIFTY debuted in November 2022 under ATTRAKT, the agency run by Jeon Hong-jun. The name was meant as a balance: hope and hard reality in equal parts, with the fans making up the rest of the 100. The first line-up was Saena, Keena, Aran and Sio, and the debut EP The Fifty was led by "Higher". Their first fandom name was HUNNIES.
"Cupid"
Three months later came The Beginning: Cupid. Its light title song spread fast, and in March 2023 it entered the Billboard Hot 100 sooner after debut than any K-pop group before. It stayed for half a year and even made Billboard's year-end list. Then, in June, the members asked a court to suspend their contracts, and promotions stopped. The court rejected the request in August. Keena went back to ATTRAKT that October, and the contracts of the other three were ended.
Soft pop, new voices
ATTRAKT rebuilt the group around Keena. After months of evaluations, Chanelle Moon, Yewon, Hana and Athena were revealed in August 2024, and the fans were renamed TWENY, since 50 in a mirror reads as 20. The relaunch kept the easy, airy pop that made "Cupid" work. "Starry Night" and "SOS" opened the new era, and a first US tour followed that winter. "Pookie", in 2025, added a playful edge.
Where they are now
Hana stepped back from group activities in March 2026, and the other four promoted Imperfect-I'mperfect that June. Its title song is "Like a Bubble". In August the group started an Asia fan concert tour in Seoul, with Tokyo and Manila after it. Keena is still the link between both line-ups, and Hana remains part of the five.
