Their story

Seven from Jellyfish

VERIVERY debuted in January 2019 as Jellyfish Entertainment's new boy group, seven members led by Dongheon. The name joins the Latin "veri", truth, to the English "very", and the letters also point to various, energetic, real and innovation. Their first title track was "Ring Ring Ring". Within two years they had released six EPs, three each in the Veri and Face series.

Billboard before trophies

The first big number came from abroad. In October 2020 "G.B.T.B." went to No. 1 on Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart, and "Get Away" reached the same spot in March 2021. That year they also finished fifth on Mnet's Road to Kingdom. The Series 'O' story ran through single albums into their first full album, Whole. Music show wins came last: "Tap Tap" won on Show Champion and Music Bank in the same week of November 2022.

Two and a half years away

After Liminality - EP.Dream in May 2023, the group went quiet. Minchan had stepped back in 2022 and Hoyoung followed in 2023, while Dongheon became the first member to enlist. In 2025 Dongheon, Gyehyeon and Kangmin tried Boys II Planet. Kangmin reached the final and finished ninth, just missing the debut line-up. When the group returned in December with "RED (Beggin')", built on a Four Seasons song from 1967, Kangmin admitted he had grown afraid of releasing an album.

Where they are now

Dongheon, Gyehyeon, Yeonho, Yongseung and Kangmin renewed with Jellyfish in October 2025 and now promote as five. Hoyoung is doing his military service. The mini album CONFETTI came out in September 2026, led by the funk-pop song "Don't Panic!", with the members dressed as a travelling cheer squad. In October they played two nights at KBS Arena in Seoul before taking the GIVE ME FIVE, KEEP THAT VIBE tour abroad, starting in Jakarta.
