Their story
Six teenagers and a clap
TEEN TOP started with six members, all still teenagers: C.A.P, Chunji, L.Joe, Niel, Ricky and Changjo. They debuted for TOP Media in July 2010 on Show! Music Core with "Clap". The first year was about finding a sound, from "Supa Luv" to "No More Perfume on You". Then came "Going Crazy" and, in February 2012, their first win on Music Bank.
"To You" and "Rocking"
The next years were their busiest. "To You" came out in 2012, and nobody could know it would bring them back a decade later. Their first studio album, No. 1, arrived alongside a first tour of Europe, and the fast, hard-hitting "Rocking" won three music show trophies. Natural Born Teen Top then went straight to the top of the Gaon album chart.
Quiet years
L.Joe left in 2017, and after DEAR. N9NE the group went quiet for four years. Military service took Chunji, Ricky and C.A.P, and Niel and Changjo later left TOP Media while staying in the group. It looked like the story was over. Then Yoo Jae-suk's project group covered "To You" on How Do You Play?, and suddenly the old TEEN TOP songs were climbing the charts again.
Where they are now
The revival brought a full-group comeback, but without C.A.P, who left in May 2023. Chunji, Niel, Ricky and Changjo released 4SHO that July, a title meant as a promise to their fans, Angel. An anniversary EP, Just 15, Just Teen Top, followed with "Cherry Pie". It is still their latest release, and the four carry on as a group.
