TXT's November: a new tour and a perfect storm

Three sold-out nights in Seoul, and the next day a new EP. TXT start their fifth world tour and their ninth mini album in the same week. This is what we know, and where the tour goes until June 2027.

폭풍

Some groups space things out. TXT do the opposite this November. On 13, 14 and 15 November they open their fifth world tour, Steal The Wind, at KSPO DOME in Seoul. On 16 November, the day after the last of those three shows, their ninth EP PERFECT STORM comes out at 6 p.m. Korean time.

The three Seoul nights sold out in the general sale on 6 October, BIGHIT MUSIC said. For everyone who did not get a seat, the shows are also streamed live online.

The album: growing up in bad weather

For years TXT have sung about being young: the dreams, the friends, the running away. PERFECT STORM turns to the part that comes after. The label describes it as the growing pains of Gen Z, the moment teenage daydreams run into the pressure of real life.

The concept trailer, out on 19 October on the HYBE LABELS channel, shows that in five small scenes. Every member waits for the storm in his own way: Soobin at a lake, Yeonjun in a rotating room, Beomgyu pulling at loose threads, Hueningkai watching for signs of wind and Taehyun standing in the rain.

Every member waits for the storm in his own way.

Six songs, and a few new combinations

The EP has six songs. The title track is "Angel Bite", and Martin, Juhoon and Seonghyeon of CORTIS, the younger group at the same label, worked on it too.

  • "Something Different Is Needed (STORM IS...)"Its Korean title echoes the line of the first teaser: "something different is needed this time"
  • "Angel Bite"The title track
  • "Higher Love"
  • "Sweetest Escape"A unit song for Yeonjun, Taehyun and Hueningkai
  • "Touch the Sky"Lyrics co-written by Soobin and Beomgyu
  • "Hate It or Love It"Lyrics co-written by Beomgyu, Taehyun and Hueningkai

Fans built up to it in their own way. Before the release there was a pre-save page on Spotify with a world map: every region where people saved the album got a small storm, and it grew as more people joined. Less than two weeks in, there were storms in about 6,600 regions.

The tour: 33 nights, four continents

The name means something like "making the flow your own". After Seoul the tour goes straight to Macau, where two nights at Galaxy Arena sold out so fast that a third was added for 20 November. Then Japan, with two nights in each of four cities: Fukuoka in December, then the Tokyo Dome, the Kyocera Dome in Osaka and the Vantelin Dome in Nagoya in January and February.

March brings Kaohsiung, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. In May TXT cross to North America: Tacoma, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Fort Worth, Atlanta, New York and Chicago. Europe follows in June, and the tour ends with two nights in Hong Kong on 19 and 20 June 2027.

Outside Asia most venues have not been announced yet, and the tour poster ends with "and more". We will add cities and venues as soon as they are official.
